The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.

Through the stars, God told the story of redemption prior to any written bible. This was God’s original display of His love story to mankind. The constellation associated for the month of Shevat is Aquarius meaning, “Water Bearer", which symbolizes Jesus pouring out His Living Water so we can drink Him in. It just so happens to be the month for us to declare, “Our blessings are on the way!”  So, let’s position ourselves by faith to receive everything the Lord has to offer us through His Spirt.  Strap on your seatbelt and enjoy the ride!!

The woman at the well discovered this Living Water. She was forever changed and became the first woman evangelist in her sphere of influence.  

Jesus said to her “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again.  The water that I will give him, will become in him a spring of water, welling up to eternal life.” 

John 4: 13-14

This month also represents the tribe of Asher, which is associated with pleasure, happiness, deliciousness, and fatness. We must beware that our blessings do not turn into idols that ensnare and plug our wells. Many times, throughout history, when Israel was blessed and prosperous they forsook God. They were an example to us all to keep the Lord first in our lives.  

“For My people have committed two evils: They have forsaken Me, the fountain of living waters, and hewn themselves cisterns-broken cisterns that can hold no water.”

Jeremiah 2:13

Father, forgive us for turning to our own source, rather than living a life dependant on You. Forgive us for trusting in our own righteousness and strength and worshipping the works of our own hands. Cleanse and restore our foundations. Align our hearts with Your heart. Saturate our nation with Your Living water.

Declared by the Peace Tower on the South Side, which overlooks the lawn in front of the Parliament buildings are the following words: “Give the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness unto the king's son.”  May this living Word resound over our nation and beckon all Canadians to You. 

We ask that You would raise up the men, women and children you have hidden away for such a time as this, to come forth in our nation.  

“In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people.  Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.”  

Acts 2:17

Fill us with Your Spirit and give favour to the person You have chosen for the leader of the PC party as well as the Green party, that they would be people that have Your heart, vision, wisdom and strength.  We ask that you would make a way, where there seems to be no way.  Open the double door for them, like You did for Your servant Cyrus. May they be people who,

“Restore the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the children to the fathers”. 

Mal 4:6   

May they be like Josiah who returned to God and led the nation back to You.  Break in, break out, and break through all generations, that we may advance Your kingdom in Jesus name.  

We declare over Canada:

For, I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour my Spirit upon your offspring and my blessing on your descendants.

Isaiah 44:3

Isaiah 45:8

Then Israel (Canada) sang this song: “Spring up O well!  Let all sing to it.  The well dug by princes and by leaders of the people, dug with a royal scepter and with their walking sticks.

Numbers 21:17-18
