Retooling for God's original intent
As we navigate through our ever-changing times, we can be easily overwhelmed by all the events that are taking place daily. Although mankind may have been taken off guard by all these things, God was not. That is why He has been preparing His church for such a time as this. Because we are His and He is ours, we can be certain that regardless of what happens, we can find comfort in His promise to us.
“And surely I am with you always, even to the end of time” - Matthew 28:20
This week a word was released by the Canadian Prophetic Council. One of its members by the name of Marc Brisboi stated this, “God is retooling the Church for His original intent. By design we are meant to conquer darkness and pillage the very Gates of Hell. As such we are being prepared to reveal righteousness our enemy cannot withstand. Matthew 16:18. We can resist, but for this purpose we were born.”
He received a prophetic picture as to how the USA entered WWII. He said they struggled with reluctance of not wanting to get involved in the war as they were distracted with life and the pursuit of happiness - that was until the bombing of Pearl Harbour. They were all in after that and their priorities changed. All at once industries had to retool machines and equipment to make things of necessity rather than comfort to help out in the war. Here we are in 2020 and this is what has happened at the beginning of Covid 19 when companies shifted to producing hand sanitizer, masks, face shields and all the other necessities to overcome the unseen enemy. But the story doesn’t end there - the spiritual battle is for an eternal reward and that’s why God is retooling His church. So, although we may not understand everything that is going on around us, let’s continue to press in, even if we do not see with our natural eyes the damage we are doing to the gates of hell or what God is doing in this time of retooling. Prayer, obedience, sacrifice of time and energy are all weapons we have been given. Let’s not neglect them.
We know one thing during this season, more than ever, we need to be connected to our Father or we won’t make it. He is our life line. Jesus, who was the representation of the Father here on earth stated this Himself.
“I am the vine, you are the branches. Those who live in Me, while I live in them, will produce a lot of fruit. But you can’t produce anything without Me. Whoever doesn’t live in Me is thrown away like a branch and dries up. Branches like this are gathered, thrown into a fire and burned. If you live in Me and what I say lives in you, then ask for anything you want, and it will be yours. You give glory to My Father when you produce a lot of fruit and therefore show that you are my disciples.” - John 15:5-8
This is a picture of the powerful body of Christ who will endure to the end.
So let’s not grow weary in doing good, for at the right time, we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. - Galatians 6:9
So, as we continue to be retooled into the very instruments God wants us to be, we must remember the generations that have gone before us, laying down their lives for not only our natural freedoms, but our spiritual freedoms as well. And may we never forget that someone prayed us into the Kingdom. Where would we be if someone didn’t travail in prayer over the salvation of our souls?
Our families, friends, communities and nation hang in the balance. Let’s purpose to “fight the good fight of faith. Take hold of everlasting life to which you were called” 1 Timothy 6:12 and every time worry or fear attacks our mind and emotions, offer them up to Him quickly lest it explode in us.
Curb every passion, and be on the alert. Your great accuser, the Devil is going about like a roaring lion to see whom he can devour. - 1 Peter 5:7
