As Ecclesiastes says, there is a time for everything under the sun - now is the time for deliverance! It’s imperative that we let God re-shape the way view deliverance so that we can come into the fullness of who God created us to be.
Are you familiar with the Hebrew calendar? God created it by the cycles of the moon in order to keep His people in His timing. It’s such a revelatory tool. As we track with the meaning of each month and the feasts of the Lord, we begin to see farther and step more fully into what God is doing in our midst.
As you read this post, we are in the month of Adar 1. This is a month for lifting off curses or wrong decrees that are swirling in our atmosphere and for removing the masks that cover our identity - deliverance. Oh, and it’s a month of CELEBRATION!
Just as the Lord has been re-shaping our view of repentance, He has been bringing revelation to the gift of ‘deliverance’. Many times, when we hear the word ‘deliverance’, it carries with it images of dramatic displays of demonic activity being expelled from people. This is very real and very true! But because of the way that sin has shaped our lives – our sin, others’ sin, sin structures – our souls are in constant need of deliverance and will be until the day we see Jesus face to face.
Knowing this means there is no shame in asking God for the deliverance that He wants to freely give. In fact, we have been rolling back the shame that has been associated with this beautiful gift. Unless we believe that deliverance – the drawing unto, the re-shaping of our souls – is for us as believers, we will stay bound, not being able to enter into the fullness that God desires for us. Deliverance is the key to moving from glory to glory in the process of sanctification. It’s an integral part of walking out our own salvation with fear and trembling.
Let’s enter into this moment and let the Lord take us on a journey to deliverance. We are declaring that not one person in our regional family will be exempt from encountering the deliverance of the Lord in this month of Adar 1. If that’s not enough, because this year is a leap year in the Hebrew calendar, next month is Adar 2. This means we have two months to believe for accelerated deliverance. If that’s not a reason to celebrate, I don’t know what is!

Repent for how you’ve viewed deliverance in the past and ask Holy Spirit to bring you His revelation. He wants to change our minds and show us how excited He is about the gift of deliverance.
Ask Holy Spirit to deliver you from the areas of your soul that have been shaped by sin. Decree: “I receive your deliverance and I am expecting to see it manifest in my life.” lives of His children.
Key activation for the region/body of Christ:
Repent on behalf of the body of Christ throughout the region for partnering with sin – our own, other people’s and structures of sin - that have caused bondage.
Declare deliverance over the hearts of people, systems and cycles that have been formed as a result of sin.
Take a moment to celebrate over what God is doing in our region. Decree the blessings of the Lord over our region and celebrate that curses are being overturned.
