We are living in times where we must “walk by faith and not by sight”. We could easily be discouraged if we depended on our natural vision to gauge the spiritual atmosphere. But these are the perfect conditions for God to birth miracles. So, as we continue to partner with Him in faith and thankfulness to destroy the unseen arsenal of weapons aimed at us, let’s put our praise on!
It’s so enjoyable to come before you with uncontainable praises spilling from our hearts! How we love to sing our praises over and over to you, to the matchless God, high and exalted over all! At each and every sunrise we will be thanking you for your kindness and your love. As the sun sets and all through the night. - Psalm 92: 1-2
As we press on through this month of Av, meaning “Father”, may we continue to let Him mould and shape our identity more and more.
We can all draw close to Him with the veil removed from our faces. And with no veil we all become like mirrors who brightly reflect the glory of the Lord Jesus. We are being transfigured into His very image as we move from one brighter level of glory to another. And this glorious transfiguration comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. - 2 Corinthians 3:18
It gives me great hope to know,
“We are like common clay jars that carry this glorious treasure within, so that the extraordinary overflow of power will be seen as God’s not ours.” - 2 Corinthians 4:7
Let’s continue to push through for what the Lord has in store for us.
“The entire universe is standing on tip toe, yearning to see the unveiling of God’s glorious sons and daughters!” - Romans 8:19
Lord, we come before you and repent on behalf of ourselves and all mankind for making it about us and not about You. Forgive us for chasing after the things of this world. Remind us that the devil tempted Jesus with the same thing.
“The devil led Him up to a high place and showed Him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world. And he said to him, "I will give you all their authority and splendor; it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to. If you worship me, it will all be yours." Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Worship the Lord your God and serve him only.’" - Luke 4:5
We are sorry for believing that we can be fulfilled by what the world has to offer. May You be the first and last thing on our mind each and every day. May we surrender ourselves to You, so You can change our desires to seek You with our whole heart. Help us to be willing where we are unwilling.
Help us to remember that our days are numbered, and help us to interpret our lives correctly. Set your wisdom deeply in our hearts so that we may accept your correction. Return to us again O God! How much longer will it take until You show us Your abundant compassion? Let the sunrise of Your love end our dark night. Break through our clouded dawn again! Only You can satisfy our hearts, filling us with songs of joy to the end of our days. We’ve been overwhelmed with grief; come now and overwhelm us with decades of delight. Let us see Your miracles again, and let the rising generation see the glorious wonders you’re famous for. - Psalm 90:12-16
Thank you, Lord for Your word which declares,
And on this mountain, he will destroy the shroud wrapped around all the people, the veil spread over all nations. - Isaiah 25:7
May the Glory of the Lord break through our darkness, in Jesus name we pray!
