The Resurrection of Jesus

Just like the first Passover and the death and resurrection of Jesus, Easter 2020 will be one that will be remembered.  As the days march into weeks and the isolation requirement is prolonged, our hearts ache to see those we love so that we can fellowship with them once again.  I can’t help but think this is how God must feel when our sin, like the corona virus, keeps us from Him.

But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear.

Isaiah 59:2

We have great hope in that Jesus is our antidote and life source for the sin issue.  He paid OUR debt and rescued us from our sin and ourselves, bringing us home to our heavenly Father.  May the revelation of His sacrifice and love this season overtake all mankind so that they would be forever changed.

For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the Spirit.

1 Peter 3:18

For God in all His fullness was pleased to live in Christ and through Him, God reconciled everything to himself.  He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of Christ’s blood on the cross.

Col 1:20

Just like it is spring in the natural, we declare over our families, communities, nation and world:

Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old.  Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?  I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

Isaiah 43:18-19

Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things I now declare; before they spring forth, I tell you of them.  Declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, “My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish all my purpose.”

Isaiah 42:9-10

We call forth the Word and the Seed that has ever been sown in the hearts of man.  We ask that Jesus our King would burst forth like never before in the lives of all people.  May Jesus be to you whatever you need Him to be.  He NEVER runs out of what we need.
