As the days turn into weeks, which turn into months, the Ekklesia is being positioned for the greatest harvest ever. God is quietly working behind the scenes, just like He was working on that “silent night” when our Saviour was born.
The alphabet letter associated with this Hebrew month of Tammuz, is the letter Chet which is the letter of “life”. It is also the letter of discipleship to Jesus. We will reflect whatever we are full of.
In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:16
As we submit and surrender our mind, will and emotions to our Lord, the world will see more of Him and less of us. Jesus gives us a key to unlock that power.
“If you love me, you will keep my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, 21 Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.” John 14:15-16, 21
Jesus replied, “Loving me empowers you to obey my word. And my Father will love you so deeply that we will come to you and make you our dwelling place. But those who don’t love me will not obey my words. John 14:23-24
Another characteristic for this month is covenant alignment. So, as we the body of Christ, align ourselves with our King in all those areas of our lives that we were holding onto, His covenant promises will come to fruition to a greater degree. Breaking forth like never before. Just like the disciples did after Jesus was taken to heaven. They trained for 3 years with Jesus, now it was time to put to the test what they had been taught. Not focusing on the politics of their day which was Roman rule. They brought the Kingdom of God not only to their region but beyond. Living, loving and sharing what was inside of them, which was the Kingdom of God, to the lost, sick, and hurting.
When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” Matthew 9:36-38
So, we take Jesus up on His eternal Word, and ask God that He would send out workers into His harvest field of Canada. We ask He would release those He has in hiding for such a time as this. That prodigals would come home, that the blind would see, the deaf will hear, and the lost will be found. We declare over our nation:
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 15:57We have been redeemed from the curse so that the Blessing of Abraham might be ours. Galatians 3:13
Despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
Romans 8:37
