The prophets are coming home
We have moved forward into the new Era and also crossed over into the Hebrew month of Cheshvan. One of the characteristics of this month is the number 8 signifying eternal revelation and new beginnings. A significant event that took place in the month of Cheshvan was the beginning and the end of the flood. So, we can get ready for the cleansing of the old so we can walk with a new perspective.
Last week a word was released by Jeremiah Johnson for Canada (see below). He referenced the outpouring of the Holy Spirit between 1990 and 2000 when great moves of God were happening. He compared what happened in Canada back then to what happened at Mount Carmel between Elijah and Jezebel. After the move of the Holy Spirit between 1990 and 2000, the Jezebel spirit then attacked our prophets in Canada, thereby causing them to leave. But we can be confident that our God will not forsake us.
Jer 29:11 - “For I know the plans I have for you” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
After Elijah runs from Jezebel and voices his complaints to the Lord, the Lord instructs Elijah to anoint two kings and a prophet. (This month of Cheshvan is associated with the fragrance of myrrh. Myrrh was used in the anointing oils for kings and prophets.)
Then God tells Elijah in 1st Kings 19:18 “Yet I have reserved 7,000 in Israel, all whose knees have not bowed to Baal, and every mouth that has not kissed him.” The very next thing Elijah does is anoints Elisha, to be the next generation of prophets. Elisha carried a double portion of what Elijah had and his influence led to a spiritual awakening during a very dark time in Israel’s history.
So, we decree the prophets are coming home and there is a new generation of prophets arising. We commission them to take their place and declare over them Isaiah 56:1 Thus says the Lord: “Keep justice, and do righteousness, for soon my salvation will come, and my righteousness be revealed.” We declare, the new members appointed in our government will be a generation of Elisha’s. They will share the heartbeat of God and have great influence for God’s kingdom.
Jeremiah Johnson prophesied back on Jan 21st, 2018 God says,
“There is a young people movement coming out of Canada. I have heard the cries for revival and awakening and I’m releasing the fellowship of the burning hearts. . . .There are mighty outpourings of My Spirit coming. I am doing away with an old religious wineskin in Canada and will pour out new wine into gatherings of believers who embrace family and the moving of My Spirit. My apostles and prophets will gather in Canada in the days ahead and form an alliance together to see sustained revival and reformation in the land.
Whether you are 18 or 80 you are classified as young if you have the heart of God. For God looks at the heart and we all have our part to do. He wants to synergize the ages and use the DNA from each era to impact our nation and our world.
In order for us to walk in the season of great renewal and of great signs and wonders, we must stay hungry and humble. God promises us in Matthew 5:6, “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled and Psalm 149:4, “For the Lord takes delight in His people, He crowns the humble with victory.”
This is also the month to tread on serpents and scorpions. So we declare over the church of Canada Luke 10:19 - “See, I have given you authority to tread on snakes and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will harm you.” As we move forward in the battle, we like Elijah and Elisha, will continue our journey with faith in our God alone.
Esther 4:14 Perhaps, you were born for such a time as this.
